Coaching
My coaching training is with the Coaches Training Institute, using the Co-Active Coaching model. In Co-Active Coaching, the client and the coach work together to discover the values that you, the client, hold close to your heart, and then to discover how your life and/or work can be closer to your values. We explore what fulfillment means to you, your level of satisfaction with your life’s balance, and what you want more of in your life.

My role as a coach is not to provide advice or opinions, but to provide support and to ask powerful questions to help you on your discovery path. The coaching relationship goes beyond exploration and moves you to action – just like an athletic coach, the life coach cheers you on, pushes you to set goals, and supports you while you try to meet them. Your role as a client is to bring yourself, openly and willingly, to the coaching process.
This type of coaching is excellent when people want to make changes in their life or feel that they want to develop a particular aspect of their life or work differently. This model can also be adapted to work in the professional/organizational environment, and to work with groups.
Typically, a client purchases a coaching package for periods of three months at a time. Each month consists of four 30-minute coaching sessions, which may be conducted by phone or Skype. Our first conversation, the Discovery Session, will be longer than the subsequent sessions.
I also offer the Coaching Kickstart, a one month series of coaching sessions to help you gain clarity, make a plan, and jump into action.
For clients who have not experienced coaching and would like to try a sample session before committing to a package, I offer a free 30-minute introductory sample session.
What my clients say:
You’re very good at sensing needs and unspoken problems that people are encountering. You ask astute questions and the greatest thing about you is your ability to hear without seeming to judge. It’s also clear that you value people for who they are as themselves, which is supportive in and of itself.
