What Are You Doing For Fun?

4 May

One of the areas on the coaching  Wheel of Life is “Fun and Recreation”.

That’s right – fun! Coaching isn’t just about changing careers or exercising more or spending more time reading books or with your family. It’s about looking at all areas of your life – including fun and recreation – and asking how these areas can best serve you and the person you are becoming.

Check yourself against these statements from the Wheel exercise:

1. I regularly take the time I need to experience play, adventure, and leisure.

2. I know what activities renew me and bring me alive and I participate in them regularly.

3. I create plenty of space in my life to relax and enjoy myself and others.

4. I create fun for myself and others.

How true are these statements for you? Where do you have room to bring more fun in your life? What’s a totally fun thing you are going to do this week?

For 50 random fun ideas, check out Are You Having Enough Fun?. After reading this list, I just might get to the Bata Shoe Museum after all.

Like what you’re reading? There’s more where that came from!
